Driving Hygiene and Efficiency with Polytex at Unilever

To support operational excellence, employee wellbeing, and strict hygiene standards, Unilever turned to Polytex’s automated workwear management solution at one of its chocolate snacks production sites. With over 250 employees across two factories, maintaining a seamless supply of clean workwear is critical to food safety and smooth operations. The Polytex system provides 24/7 automated garment dispensing and return, enabling employees to independently replace soiled clothing throughout their shifts.

Social & Environmental Projects

Polytex is committed to expanding our community volunteer activities and engagement in environmental improvement projects.

Regulatory Compliance

Polytex fulfils the European regulations on carbon taxation based on Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) requirements.

Vehicle Fleet Transition

We seek to continue the transition from hybrid to electric vehicles. Our goal is to reach 20% of the fleet to be fully electric by the end of the year.

Ethical Audit

Polytex will conduct a Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) audit for the largest Polytex subcontractors, focusing on employment conditions.
